Prediction markets let you trade on the outcome of future events. If you think something will happen, you buy 'Yes' shares. If you think it won't, you buy 'No' shares. Prices reflect what traders collectively believe is the probability of an event.
Each market has Yes and No shares priced between 0 and 1 virtual credits. If you buy Yes shares at 0.30 and the event happens, each share resolves to 1 virtual credit in the simulation. If it doesn't happen, that virtual stake is lost. The reverse is true for No shares.

Markets resolve when the event outcome is determined. For example, an election market resolves after votes are counted. Correct shares resolve to 1 virtual credit each, and incorrect shares become worthless inside the simulation.
